The Brief
Tilta provides embedded payment infrastructure for B2B marketplaces and platforms. Their technology sits behind the scenes — powering payment flows that end users never see but that businesses depend on. The website needed to make an invisible product visible, explaining complex payment infrastructure to both technical integrators and business decision-makers.
Discovery & Strategy
Invisible Product Challenge
Infrastructure products are inherently hard to market — you can't screenshot a payment API. We developed a content strategy based on architecture diagrams, integration flow visualizations, and real-world use case narratives. Each explains Tilta's role in the payment chain clearly, showing where their technology sits and what it enables.
Design Approach
Enterprise Trust Design
B2B payment companies handle sensitive financial data. The design projects security and reliability: structured layouts, precise spacing, and a color system rooted in deep blue and clean white — colors historically associated with financial trust. No decorative elements, no unnecessary animation — every pixel earns its place through functional communication.
Development & Build
Technical + Business Content
Product pages use a dual-layer content approach: the primary layer explains business benefits in clear language with ROI projections and implementation timelines. An expandable secondary layer reveals API documentation previews, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications for developer evaluation. This serves both audiences on the same page without forcing a choice.
Case studies connect Tilta's infrastructure to measurable business outcomes: transaction processing speed improvements, payment failure rate reductions, and compliance cost savings. Each case study is structured with schema markup for rich search results.
Results & Impact
Enterprise Pipeline
The redesigned site improved Tilta's positioning in enterprise evaluations. The dual-layer content approach reduced sales cycle length as prospects arrived with better product understanding. The technical documentation previews gave developers the confidence to advocate internally for Tilta's integration before formal evaluation began.
