What drives the cost of a website project?

Page count, custom interactions, integrations and how many content types need a CMS. We share a range on the first call and send a fixed quote once we've seen your page list and any design files.

What do you need from us to send a quote?

What the site is for, a rough page list, your brand materials in any format and a link to your current site. Design files and read-only analytics help. Rough is fine, and we usually reply with a proposal within a day.

Should we share our budget?

It helps. If you have a range, we'll tell you what fits inside it and what could wait for a later phase. If you don't, we'll share our usual range for projects like yours.

How are payments structured?

A deposit to start, then payments tied to work you can review: the approved homepage, the remaining pages, and launch. Three or four steps is usually enough, and every invoice follows progress you can see.

What happens if the scope changes mid-project?

The quote covers the scope as agreed. If something new comes up, we tell you what it affects before doing the work. Quick changes get done, bigger additions get their own scope and price.

Do we need a full rebrand or just a new website?

Often an evolution is enough: keep the logo and core colors, modernize the rest. When it's unclear, we send two proposals side by side, website only and brand plus website, so you can compare.

Timeline and process

How does a project actually run?

How long does a new website or redesign take?

Most B2B sites take three to five weeks, and branding adds about a week. You see your real homepage in the browser around a week and a half in. Feedback speed is the biggest factor in the timeline.

What happens after we sign?

A few days of discovery and references, then your homepage as a working site you can open on your phone and laptop. Once it's approved, the remaining pages follow on the same system, then QA and launch.

Do we need our copy ready before you start?

No. We design from what already exists, like your current site, deck and brand materials, while your team writes in parallel. Final copy drops into the CMS when it's ready.

Can we launch the homepage first and add the rest later?

Yes, and we often recommend it when a date is close. We plan the full structure from day one, so phase one stands on its own and the rest expands it without a redesign.

How many revision rounds do we get?

A set number of consolidated rounds per phase, written into the proposal. Two per page is usually enough. The first visual direction doesn't count against them.

How much of our team's time will this take?

A kickoff, quick reviews at each milestone and a shared chat channel for small questions. A small group of approvers keeps things moving, since every extra sign-off adds time.

Which platform should we build on?

Start with who will maintain it. Custom code suits teams with developers who'll host and look after it. For most B2B marketing sites we recommend Framer, because your marketing team can update pages without filing a ticket.

Will a redesign or migration hurt our search rankings?

Not when it's mapped properly. We pull your full sitemap, protect the pages that bring traffic, redirect every old URL and compare the old and new sites page by page before the domain moves.

What do you need from us to scope a migration?

Read-only access to the old CMS or a full URL export, analytics and Search Console data, and a list of forms and integrations. We pull the sitemap and backlink data ourselves.

Is SEO included in a redesign?

Technical SEO is part of every build: clean structure, metadata, structured data and fast pages. Content SEO is ongoing work, and we can help with direction as the site grows.

Will our CRM and forms still work?

Yes. Your CRM keeps handling routing and follow-ups. We style the forms to match the new site, connect them, and send a real test enquiry before launch.

Can you build a design our designer or agency already made?

Yes. We review the design file first, flag anything that will be hard to build, and quote from the real scope. Placeholder content is fine as long as the layout direction is set.

Will we own the website?

Yes. We build in our workspace, then transfer the whole project to an account under your company email. Your domain stays with you, hosting runs on your own subscription, and we stay on as an editor only if you want us to.

Can our team update the site without a developer?

Yes. Case studies, posts and team members live in a CMS, the design system keeps the layout safe, and every handover includes a recorded walkthrough of your own site.

What support do we get after launch?

Two weeks of fixes are included after launch, because that's when small issues show up. After that, ongoing help is optional: hourly for one-off changes, or a monthly partnership for steady work.

Does a website need a maintenance plan to keep running?

No. A hosted site keeps running on its own. A plan is for ongoing work like new pages and sections, integrations and fixes, sized to how much you actually need.

How do we avoid depending on one developer?

The site lives in an account your company owns, custom components come with editable source, and we document publishing, redirects and CMS workflows in a folder you keep.

Can we use AI to update the site later?

Yes. With a design system and CMS templates in place, AI tools can fill new pages and entries while the layout and brand stay protected. A person still reviews the result.
